For the people we love. For the people they love.
Somewhere along the way, the world decided that a number defines a person. That past a certain milestone, you suddenly become someone to manage. Smaller. Fragile. Less.
I couldn't accept that.
Our minds have a quiet power to create our reality. When the world treats someone as fragile and dependent, they begin to believe it, and their body slowly follows. Too many vibrant people step back from their independence not because their biology demanded it, but because they were subtly guided into retreat by a world that expected nothing more from them.
At the exact same time, I've watched the other side. I've seen loving adult children transformed into exhausted logistics coordinators. They are forced to juggle every fragmented medical appointment, calendar loop, and aspect of their own lives. They lie awake at night, doing everything humanly possible, yet still feeling like it is never quite enough.
Two distinct anxieties quietly separate two generations of the same family.
That is the gap I couldn't unsee, and Lyraa Care is my answer to it.
